Ceremony Details:
Saturday 30th May 2026
Time: 11.40am
New Mills Town Hall, Spring Bank, New Mills, High Peak SK22 4AT
Unfortunately, we are only able to have 25 people attend our wedding ceremony, so if you aren’t invited to this, please don’t take it personally! We hope you will join us at our reception venue – the details are below.
- Parking – There is free parking outside of the town hall. If this is full, there are nearby side streets with free parking.
- Please join us for group photos outside the town hall after the ceremony.
- The reception is a 10 minute drive from the town hall.
Venue Reception Details:
You are welcome to arrive at any time from 1pm.

- When turning onto the country road towards Rowarth, you will see signs saying to ignore your sat nav. Follow the road signs where directed.
- There is a large car park upon entry, plus overflow parking available if necessary.
- We have booked an outdoor marquee at the venue and our food will be prepared and cooked for us by the Little Mill chefs.
Food & Beverages
Barbecue – at around 3.30pm
- Beef burgers served with or without cheese, fried onions on a muffin
- Tandoori chicken kebabs
- Selection of local sausages (examples: pork & apple, chorizo and chilli)
- French fries
- Salad platters, potato salad, coleslaw & condiments
Vegan options will be available, as well as meals to suit food intolerances. We have been assured that these meals will be cooked on alternative grills, inside the pub. Please let us know any preferences when you RSVP.
The venue has an outdoor bar which will be available for our exclusive use.
Evening Buffet – from 7pm
- Hot sausage rolls
- Chicken drumsticks and thighs
- Mini quiche selection
- Fries, salad, potato salad & coleslaw
The Little Mill Inn has an extensive menu if you wish to order alternative options in the evening.
Registry & Gifts
Your love, laughter and company is the greatest gift of all. We would be delighted to share our special day with you and no gifts are expected.
We’ve been together for a long time and have a lovely home. There are not too many things that we don’t already own. We don’t want a new toaster, plates or pans, however, if you wish to bring a gift, we would love a few pennies to put in our pot, for our honeymoon trip after tying the knot.
Alternatively, sentimental gifts are always loved in our house.
Dress Code & Colour Palette
- Men: suits, with or without ties
- Women: dress comfortably, including shoes! (The bride will not be in heels… so I don’t expect you to be either!)
- We will be outdoors all day so please bring extra layers if you are staying into the evening.
Our colour palette is ‘Jewel Tones’. In a world full of colours, we couldn’t choose just one or two! Dress as brightly and colourfully as you wish.
Children
Children are very welcome! The venue has a play park area so we suggest you bring their trainers and an extra layer in case it gets cooler (we can’t make any promises when it comes to the British weather!)
We advise women against wearing heels (or also bring flats in case you have to chase your cheeky child… we get it).
The Little Mill is home to animals which are free to roam, so please ensure your child(ren) remember not to touch or feed them!
We will also set up an activity table with colouring and crafts to keep the little ones entertained.
